Street Cleaning Wednesday

Most Wednesdays I have to move my car by 10a or I'll get a parking ticket. This is the only 2 hours of the week that the parking in front of the complex is empty like this.

My Galileo Thermometer

This is what I use to tell the temperature in my apartment. Those colored objects have a certain amount of liquid in it and there's a temperature tag attached. The one object that is closest to the bottom in the upper part is the approximate temperature reading. To me, it's such an amazing piece of science that Galileo invented...and a gift from my mom. It's one of my favorite things in the apartment.

The 7/11 near my complex. It comes in handy when you need a last minute "anything." I'm out for a walk, getting today's newspaper.

I've been following the progress of this bird's nest during visits to my parents in these last few weeks. Today, I was able to catch sight of the mama bird feeding her two babies. They must've been born in the last 2 days. I was on the phone with my brother at the time and wasn't able to get a more clear shot then this.

San Juan Capistrano

My mom, sister, aunt, cousin, and I went to San Juan Capistrano. We took the Amtrak. Walked around and ate a great lunch with Mexican food and margaritias. These are the old bells near the church in front of a fountain at the mission. It was a great day.
